I just saw pics - do you have to peel the egg when it is warm so it is still moldable? How long do you have to keep the stick on there in order for the shape to stay?

i am going to try it with newly boiled egg tomorrow morning ... after it rests a bit ... then i'll peel it and press it. see if i can do it. i wouldn't try it with a cold egg because they get pretty firm after a bit.
