This is a 5 star review of a B&B in my area - not mine - but I laughed because the description of breakfast didn't sound so 5 star.
"I was hoping to meet the crazy drunk owner but instead I got 2 very nice sober men. Upon check in we were personally escorted to our room and given a briefing. Personal service like that doesn't seem to exist. The room is big and the deck is beautiful. The contental breakfast isn't bad either. It's a step up from store bought."

Several reviews mention the owners' bad behavior, but they are years old. They make for very interesting reading.

It's like when people put on our feedback form "We had a nice stay", is that all it was, nice?
Actually I get this a lot from non English speaking Europeans, and I think it's just they don't have the vocabulary rather than a sign of mediocrity, which is how I'm inclined to read it.
