Way to go WillowPond!
How big a turnout can you handle?

May everything go as planned and with no "hitches" or glitches. Congratulations!

Wow! You are really finding a niche on the music scene! Good for you.

Thanks guys, I'll let you know how it goes...we are up against some other music events, so we're keeping our fingers crossed for a good turn out. We can handle about 30 indoors, when it's cold, and 150 outdoors, in the nice months. We average about 20 indoors and 35 outdoors...with the best turn out for local talent...You'd think it would be the other way around!

A local just made it big. He reached #1 for bluegrass album in the nation in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine. He has played one block behind us a couple times in the past year, I tell guests about it and they have no clue who he is or any of the other big names who play here because they are from here, so it is always super low key. A homecoming sort of event.
Junior Sisk is his name - the band is Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice - the album is "Blue Side of the Blue Ridge."
He officially has topped our Dan Tyminski who sang "Man of Constant Sorrow" aka George Clooney's voice in O Brother WHere Art Thou.

Well, the concert went well, bigger turn out than expected. It was a great show, they were kind enough to give away CDs to the audience members! Never had that happen before!
The boys are still here, heading for Denver, poor kids slept in their van in the cold snowy blizzard coming thru Idaho the night before, they weren't expecting winter weather (from SoCal) and weren't prepared for it, had never driven in snow.
Sweet kids.
