I am always so pleased and feel off the hook when guests find each other...they can all have fun together and it makes their stay that much more pleasant. Our guests are not here for most of their stay, they are out and about so when this happens I am happy.

In the past month we have hooked up this same guest for 2 different things...one for a place to stay (other guests just bought a house here that they will be renting out and first guest goes to the same town) and that first guest is a wood carver and another guest would like to buy some carvings from him.
Just wish the guest had been here. Everyone has missed him by a week, both times!

But, yes, totally get what you mean...it's nice if they connect and talk and entertain each other. Everyone feels better.

We had that the other night. A group of guests were sitting around the campfire when a young couple, staying in another cottage were ask to join them. We carried out our complimentary "Smores Bucket" to them and everyone had a blast staying up roasting marshmallows and talking until nearly midnight.
