I did take a case to small claims court. We won and did receive our money What the couple did to use was so egregious that it was for the principle we did it. Divide the roses - give them to the ladies who REALLY deserve them - Jenn & the Moms. They will appreciate them and You will feel less peed off because it caused you to do something you should do once in a while anyway.We have been having a run on no shows. 3 in the last 2 weeks. No answer, did not answer a text either. I left directions to his suite and went to bed. Next morning I see the note is still on the door. I'm not to upset because we do charge a deposit for a one night stay. But I had bought the flowers for him. I went to charge his card for the flowers and his card would not work. So now I'm stuck with a dozen roses that I paid $50 for. 3 days later he finally texted me saying he should be charged because he did use the room and he has already talked to the bank on getting his money back. I explained our policy and he didn't care. He said he didn't use it and should not pay. He said something came up and they couldn't make it. Ummmm hello!!!! A little communication would of helped. He said he emailed me that night. I never received anything. I asked him to forward it on to me again, he hasn't. We are really going to have to watch and maybe change again the way we take deposits. People now have the ability with some card companies to turn on and off their credit cards or block a business. So they just turn it off and then cancel their reservation. We try and charge the fees and it declines us. Can you tell I'm peed off?.
