I'm starting to wonder... all my latest reviews are 4 Eyes, not 5. I'm going up on BK and XP and on TA it's always 4/5. What's wrong with me besides my bad sense of humour.
 
Who knows. Were the reviews nice? Probably people who does straight across four regardless of how wonderful you and your place were….( Grrr! ) Check it against their other reviews when you click on their name and you can see all the reviews they wrote. Besides that I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just be thankfull you got reviews. Two.... at least they are not ugly ones. I am sure you are worrying over nothing. Relax.! Keep calm and carry on !!!
Don't let your day be soiled by silly reviews. Life should not be guided by what people feel they may say or not say. You know what you give to each guest. I am sure it is the best you can do. So on that note be happy...Reviews are not your life. It is the work you do in a day that should bring you peace and joy.

Well, if you will stop changing your name whenever you are bored, people can remember it, John Sable!

Not to mention the profile pictures. My favorite was the bug running around the screen and all of us trying to kill it!!!!!!!!
 
Were they Europeans? I find that even thought they 'love' the place, 'love' your food, 'love' you!, they seem the hardest to please. They just won't think you are 'parfait'. Those are the b**king people. My TA people have been super lately!

The booking people are super hard to please. If it's not 100% exactly what they wanted and then some, it's 75%, because that's the next choice. We get a lot 75%.

It has grown over the months, it now has wings! You think it would have figured out how to get out of the square before now!!! I burst out laughing when I saw it! Thanks!
 
Nah, I think reviewers look at the last review given and follow suit. Get a few 5* going and all the ones to follow will be 5*.
But listen, we have enough flies of our own out here in fly-heaven-July-near-the-marshes. Give us a break will you? Please?

Sorry Silverspoon, it's all my fault that the fly is here…. Read further down for why its up. You will notice that its has grown since last time it appeared on the forum. Need to get Generic's mind off the four stars.

And today... Another 4 eye review with a 5 on everything but service... apparently that's where I'm a 3 eye.
Where's a country singer singing "I've got the 4 eye blues" when you need it? :)

And today... I lost half an eye on my general rating... depressed!
 
If we were rated on our sense of humour we would go out of business... hah!
I can totally relate to the frustration of bending over backwards and getting a so-so review. Makes me want to hide over in the Innkeepers quarters. It's hard sharing your space, sacrificing your privacy (and sanity) and catering to people 24/7 for them to turn around and review you, your home, your work.
