I just found a lamp shade done exactly that way!Stick a doily on it. .
Dear blogmaster, Thanks you for this wonderful blog and giving me such a tool, in a way!. I’m a web developer but your screen casts helped me a lot. I want to talk you about Culinary schools. The first one is a typical Sue chef that is turned into a plate finish of healthy value. It still preferences delightful, and importantly it is as excellent as its classic counterpart, but does have less calories and less fat. The secret component of this lighter Mac and Cheese is pureed winter squash..

Not pleated. I found Pinterest last night. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!I have covered lampshades with fabric, have stenciled on them, added braided trim to edges...all sorts of things. I assume it is a flat shade and not one with pleating.
Here are a ton of ideas.
Yes spray adhesive. I think I cut fabric on the bias for one I did so it would stretch well. But another one I just sew'd the fabric stretched i over the shade, turned under and glued at the bottom. Not pleated. I found Pinterest last night. Did you use spray fabric glue to put the fabric on the shade? That seems to be how everyone says to do it. I have a couple of broken shades I can practice on.
I think the hardest part will be cutting the fabric correctly.

These things are much much better than they look online. We had a store in town that sold them. They had a design that exactly matched my Waverly blue and cream comforter. Even when the lamp shade underneath broke they are still strong enough to use by themselves..
I LOVED your lamp shades!ukmaineiac said:https://sites.google.com/site/clevercovers/purchase-online

Beautiful shades! I have sent them on to someone I know who makes beautiful wooden objects in the hopes that it might inspire him to make lamps too!https://sites.google.com/site/clevercovers/purchase-online
