Garden tip of the day: Keep an old pair of kitchen tongs in your gardening bag for picking up things you would rather not touch,
like fallen, oozing tomatoes and stinging caterpillars.

snagged this off Facebook where an innmate had shared it!
ps There was a dead something in the garden the other day. We have freezing then warm then freezing days and I went out to see what's what. I didn't want to leave the dead something there, didn't want to touch it ... not even with gloved hands (call me Whimpy) went and got a small shovel and pried if off the ground and moved it over to the overgrown area ... going to remember this kitchen tongs idea!
