You may be interested in knowing that the cover story of the latest edition of a popular consumer magazine (they're sensitive about having their name mentioned without their permission) centers on the gluten-free fad.
They acknowledge that 7% of the population has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity and really should avoid gluten, but point out that most people on gluten-free diets are doing it because they mistakenly think that makes them healthier.
