After 8 months of constant pain I finally get my gp to refer me to a specialist. He says there's nothing obviously wrong with me. Every test is negative.
Next test involves implanting a monitor. Yeah, like I can go to the hospital and get knocked out and have a monitor implanted in July!
Sure if I got run over by a truck we'd have to deal with it but planning to be in the hospital? Nope.
So, I have to wait until Nov. At which point, if nothing changes, it will be a solid year of constant pain.
Oh, and my insurance? They have denied every claim involved with this problem. All the tests were supposedly done "out of network" and the Dr's office is now telling me I have to tell them where to send any tests because they can't keep track of what's in network any more.
I called in advance of having all the radiology and in hospital tests done and everything was hunky dory until the insurance got the bill. Now it's all out of network.
We were doing a shadowing program where a kid who wants to learn different trades follows us around for a couple of days. Yesterday she got here so early I was still in bed! Today she called in sick. Yesterday she said retail was boring so she quit that job. Honey, take what you can get, you didn't finish high school and you have a dead beat bf and a baby to support!
I think we will eventually find out the pain I'm experiencing is directly related to stress. ;-)

Another thing that is hard to find is Lupus. My cousin's wife had it. A co=worker was having problems that were not getting identified and it sounded a lot like Rosi so I suggested they test for Lupus. It was Lupus. We had a repeat guest who was told it was all in her head by the docs. in conversation telling me about what had been happening, she mentioned she had polio at age 6 but it did not affect her. I told her I knew what was wrong with her - she had post-polio syndrome. They went to the Clinic we told them about. She can back to tell us that she was one of two people at that Clinic that not only have post-polio but also MS.ok Just lyme can happen any time and at first you are not a wear it has happen. Never! ;-)I hate to suggest this, because a lot of people consider this a phase, and not a real problem...but have you considered that you may be sensitive to gluten? It has been proven to cause inflammation. Maybe that's what is causing the aches and pains?.
sounds quite like what is wrong with my chamber maid - they have no idea what it is mindNever! ;-)I hate to suggest this, because a lot of people consider this a phase, and not a real problem...but have you considered that you may be sensitive to gluten? Seriously? Doesn't even cause a tremor. Pizza is my friend. Pasta makes me happy. Even toast at night with nothing else in my stomach is fine.
You know what causes grief? Bacon. Chocolate (the real stuff). Hot drinks. Cold drinks (smoothies). Fizzy drinks. Water (yes, plain old room temp water). Alcohol (but not all alcohol). Exercise. Stress. Nuts (could be the salt, I haven't tested that yet). Yogurt (altho it used to make me feel better ). The jury is still out on oj. A couple of weeks ago I said it was fine, now I've given it up on an empty stomach.
Altho, I can happily and safely drink a chocolate milk shake. Does that mean the milk coats my stomach? Who knows.
I've tried eating ginger. Helped for awhile and then didn't help. Tried eating a little something at night like we used to do with the dog to settle her stomach overnight.
Any other suggestions?
BTW, the Dr is calling this esophageal spasms. Cause unknown.

How were you when you were on vacation? If your spasms are stress related it might take some really significant relaxed time for them to abate. Why not plan another nice long vacation to someplace far away where you can leave your troubles behind?Never! ;-)I hate to suggest this, because a lot of people consider this a phase, and not a real problem...but have you considered that you may be sensitive to gluten?
