I agree that you need to work at an inn before you can get a job as an innsitter. To be an insitter you need to know how to run an inn. If you don't have any experience, no one will hire you. We use innsitters that are located near us. They also come and help us when we are busy. We're in Italy now on vacation while they are taking care of our guests and our dogs.

OMG, where in Italy are you? Tell me Tuscany and we can meet for coffee tomorrow morning!!!

We are in Tuscany, in Panzano just south of Greve and heading back to Florence tomorrow to fly out the next day back home!

Aw shoot...we are just north west of Florence in the Ruffina Chianti region. Any chance you might venture 18 kmout side of Florence? If you find you have some time after your drive along SS222 up to Florence today consider a visit to this lovely Agriturismo. Fattoria Lavacchio produces organic wine and olive oil..right up your alley. Their label is Chedro. I have a cooking lesson in their main restaurant today so I'm not free to get to you in Florence. But if you have visited Florence before and would like to see some countryside, this place is not far and offers great food, wine tours...the works. Geese I wish I had connected with you earlier because we planned to go through Greve this week and would have gladly rearranged our plans for a visit to you.
Just in case you decide to visit...the web site has a number. Call and we will met you in Siece. My iPad is iving me trouble so I am sending tis before it cuts out onme.
