I am working on my Association. I just agreed to be Secretary and it was in our quarterly newsletter (before I was roped in to be Secretary - shows they were desperate when they get me for Secretary). I stopped last wek with South Carolina I think. Cody, Wyoming is discussing it I know..
You have truly done a lot of foot work for this site. You are wonderful!

Nah! Just stubborn. When I believe in something I become obnoxiously obsessive about trying make it work.

VERY GOOD. Now you need to market the site to associations and get more folks on the bandwagon. You know the old saying "build it and they will come." Not true...you have to drag them in by hook or by crook :).

We now have over a hundread registered. Several people on here have been in contact with state directories. I have as well. Some of them a very open and willing to help. Some just want money to mention us. PAII is going to mention us in an upcoming news letter. I'm trying to figure out what the best move forward is. My wife an I have talked about the possibility of going to a PAII convention next year and setting up in a booth. I think we would have a blast. Plus we would hopefully get to meet some of you there!
I know it will be a slow start for a new site but I was very excited about that reservation we booked. Anyway, does anyone know any Marketing firms that might be able to help in the industry? Or suggestions on where to go next?
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Yes, go to the next PAII conference, but don't be a vendor, it's VERY expensive. The networking you will have during the conference will be enough to get the word out. Maybe make up some inexpensive cards with info about the site so you can pass them out to everyone you meet.
Our state association works closely with our state tourism/travel organization and uses the same regions which helps cooperative marketing and consistent for the guest experience. I wish more directories would follow this!

And tossing another idea is once the speakers are announced, contact those you think would be interested in this concept and share the site with them. Who knows, they may mention it in their class.

Thats a great idea! When does that list come out? Is it on PAII's website?.... Nothing would make me happier than to have a booth right next to one of the big BB dot com directories and highlight our site. :)

Bob, I am not a member so hopefully someone who is can help. From memory of when I was a member I think they post it on their site about the time they start hounding emailing you to send in your entry fees. I could never attend as it is during our busy season here.
