I will have 10 rooms, closing on the Inn in 30 days. I was thinking AirB&B,Expedia etc.Which ones? How many rooms can you give them to sell?.
I believe the Inn uses thinkreservations now?Depends on the guarantee you give them on the rooms. I pay a higher percentage because I absolutely REFUSE to give them at least 1 room for 365 days a year. I pay 3% more to give them just what I want to give them and when I want to give them.
Which in my case means that they get weird openings, single nights and close to deadline rooms. You want September.... nope, you book direct. You want 3 days in July that I want to sell as a block of 3 nights, they may have it. They fill my Swiss cheese schedule.
As for Air, I offer only my two smallest rooms, but I have the B&B's name, sign and address up there and if they want, they can look me up and not pay the fees. I get very little from there, especially because it's a collection of tax avoiding people around here. (That's going to stop soon, as the ministry of revenue is now in charge of hunting down the illegals.)
I use BK, X (and affiliates) and that's pretty much it. I used to use a few others including LateRooms, but they wanted the same percentage and it was a lot of extra work. Both BK and X either take their percentage directly from the reservation or debit me, once a month. Because I'm paid in my currency, I get a lot of pre-paid reservations with X, which I like. Cuts down on the cancellation nonsense and the collections nonsense. I get a virtual card with my money on it, commission deducted already.
But contractually, we can't really tell you what the rate actually is. Reminds me of the fourth spaceship that landed on the moon, though. You aren't really sure, but Apollo is .

That one works with all the OTA's so you can adjust your prices and limit the number of rooms to whatever you want. They charge an additional 3% on every OTA reservation for the channel manager between think and the OTA.McQuade72 said:I believe the Inn uses thinkreservations now?
