I was tipped off and wrote another article for the motorcycle magazine. Most of the photos I had were fall or dark looking summer of the same highway. Today, after I finished my second online meeting, it was only 3 PM so I took a rode up the road that is the return route. I have gone up & done that road many times and until today did not realize how close to the road the monument to the Dola Mine disaster was tothe road (I knew how close Dola was to me) so I stopped and took photos of it, then actually found a place wide enough to pull over to do some shots of the road curving (a gentle curve - the ones that feel like you are making a tight circle have no shoulder darn it). I was lucky and got some shots of a tug boat pushing barges of coal down the Ohio River. I went as far as the Mason - Dixon, taking photos of the marker and the monument before turning around to come home.
I e-mailed them to the magazine (article and other photos had already been sent) and found out the article wi;; be published. This is my 4th in that magazine. I am hoping for motorcycles, Paddle boarders, and Electric Cars making this a good year - and a few elopements would be nice.
All the times Himself and I took that route, I did not take photos. STUPID!
