I'm helping a new innkeeper get set up to take payments through ResKey. She got turned down by Authorize.net because she hasn't been in business long.
I know ResKey can also work with PayPal but have never tried it. I assume once they get a PayPal account set up, it will be easy to connect ResKey to the PayPal acct.
What's the user experience like when you use PayPal? Does the guest still just put their CC info into ResKey when they make the reservation, and ResKey handles the rest, or does it send the guest to PayPal to log in or enter their CC info there, then they return to the inn's website?
Also, is there a way to re-charge the same card like you can with Authorize? That is, with Authorize, ResKey takes an initial deposit when the reservation is made, then I can go in later, when they arrive, and charge the balance due to the same card without having to enter the card info again. Can a ResKey-PayPal connection work like that? Or is each new charge started from scratch?
Thanks!
