maybe it's as simple as they found something that they liked better. do you think that guests will honestly share why they canceled if they are asked about it? i would just say that i changed my mind.

oh, I understand Alibi Ike. I have owned several businesses and currently do consulting from home which is quite lonesome also. There is no one here but me all day long! But a party would not be like a business. I would know all my guests personally which might be cause for more...

I know that I may ask how late I can cancel. Seems like there is a very wide variety in the cancellation details for B&Bs and inns. You never know what can happen when you are on holiday. They're not like hotels when you can cancel up to the day of your reservation.

I'm so grateful for innkeepers that seem to do all the work themselves. It seems like they are working themselves to death almost around the clock. If they still take time to be kind to me, they are doubly wonderful.
