Dreaming 4 a Darling Inn
Help Support Bed & Breakfast / Short Term Rental Host Forum:
I am an inspiring B&B owner just looking for information on the real world and reality of owning and running a B&B. I plan on running the Inn on my own, but with staff and with my husband supporting the back-end needs but keeping a normal day job.
Our main problem at this time is finding the right location...picking where we will live and loving it. We are also considering building a B&B from the ground up. We have spoken to 4 other B&B owners who have done this, so any additional insight with pros & cons would be greatly appreciated.
Currently we live in CA, but want to move to a place that has seasons, as we have lived on the East Coast and loved it there. That may be where we end up, but we are open to all locations at this time. Maybe that's why we are having a hard time figuring it out! LOL
