Did any of you ever think about using "reserved" signs or putting "Reserved for Smith party" on a card on the tables you have set up for your special sized groups? Both of these things work well for us.

Thanks for the welcome messages. I've been signed up on here for a while, but have been a silent lurker. However this subject is a very sensitive one for us.
Fortunately we seem to be in one of the areas where there are no advertisers, but the operative word here is "YET". Having ads appear on the screen that goes to my guests from my website is totally unacceptable to me. This isn't the same thing as B&B.com putting ads on their own pages...
