We're so excited....after a few months on the market our house has sold. By the end of November we will be headed east and searching for our B&B. I'll be keeping up on my daily visits to this forum and will also keep you posted on our search. Today I'm on top of the world.

Since reading all of your replies I did a bit more research. Found out that the manager of this inn retired a couple years ago so it's just been rented out. The absentee owner is anxious to sell the property. I mentioned the motel behind....it was apparently always there but has changed hands...

Yes I"m in Canada and we're looking in the Maritimes. Nothing definite yet but see alot of possibilities.

Yup we're from western Canada. We have also been wondering about staying put for now until the economy settles but...............the housing market is higher out west than in the east. So we can sell high and buy lower out there. That is the plan anyway if god willing it should go according...

I do like this idea. Easily washed and...could keep a fancier spread still at the bottom of the bed in case it's cool which I think it may tend to be in the Maritimes. You can get some beautiful print sheets. Thanks.
