Interesting change for those considering Airbnb membership

Thanks for the post, I just cancelled my 5 listings on AirBnB. Good-bye, How sneeky, without notice to owners, they have changed MY cancellation policy. 5 days notice is B.S. and leaves owners at a serious disadvantage. I will stick with FLIPkey, VRBO and HomeAway Sadly, AirBnB used to be...

Will a Queen Bed do fine, or without a King Bed am I losing money?

After responding to this... I actually answered it myself... Q: "What do I personally want to sleep on for 3 month?" A: "A KING!"

Will a Queen Bed do fine, or without a King Bed am I losing money?

Actually, I am doing, built-ins platform beds (to the floor so no dust bunnies), desks, nights stands, all to make sweeping fast and easy.

Will a Queen Bed do fine, or without a King Bed am I losing money?

I am starting to renovate my third B+B in the Treme, New Orleans. While I have (some) space for King Beds, Queens would fit and look better. Question: DO King Bed make more money than a Queen +/or without them would I loose bookings? Thanks, Boris D.

    TV or no TV?

I have a B+B in New Orleans (No TV) and one in rural Tennessee (TVs). For us, it depends on whether a guest can walk and watch TV somewhere. Now, it is more important to have Wi-fi.

For many reasons, listed below, Square is out. The calculations are quite easy, it's the fine print & contracts which give me pause. Does anyone know about PCI Compliance ($7.00 month): Is this a state surcharge or standard, account the board fee? Thanks, B

    Sticking To Policies...sigh

Greyhound are big dogs, with large poop to clean and loud barks. Also they tend to be nervous (around strangers and when left alone). So would that incur unexpected tinkles, and chewing as well? For 2 adults and that dog breed, charge at least a third more, and hope you do not lose other...

How do you get the incurred damages after guest left (ex: Smoking in Room = $175 fee) if you get cash or paid thru Paypal

I completely agree! I just like to try and cover ALL my bases before I jump in. We have been extremely lucky, through our screening processes. We have had two minor damages, and both were invoiced and paid after the fact. Now that we are getting over 60% monthly occupancy, I am just playing...

How do you get the incurred damages after guest left (ex: Smoking in Room = $175 fee) if you get cash or paid thru Paypal

I am still in the "process gathering stage" now, but here's what they all have confirmed (as well as, other posters on here). Any additional charges which are discovered after check-out (smoking, room service, telephone or mini-bar), the hotel may amend a guest’s bill, provided the...
