anyone use commercial cereal dispensers? I'm looking on Amason and it looks like they are all pretty flimsy. which, as we know, won't stand up to guests.

Try a hotel supply site or restaurant supplies

I discovered Webstaurantstore about a year ago. They are my go-to site for a lot of my supplies. They're cheaper on a lot of stuff, but not everything, so, as always, it pays to shop around.

We bought https://www.amazon.com/Rosseto-EZ-SERV100-5-Gallon-Cereal-Dispenser/dp/B001LK792A/ from the Container Store. Still fine.

We just bought a conveyor toaster from the web restaurant store. We looked locally but they only had the very expensive ones.

I don't have them for that very reason. All the ones I've seen look cheap and are flimsy, like a budget hotel.
I buy the individual boxes, plus I have a muesli shelf of glass storage jars so people can mix there own.

Yes it is pretty good, And if you wanna buy then visit walmart shopping mall. And if due to some personel issue you cannot visit, than check it online https://www.walmart.com/c/kp/cereal-dispensers I hope you like it.
