We have a group in this weekend I can't connect with at all. So I left. Gomez is on his own. All thru breakfast this morning it was like treading water in treacle. Hope it goes better tomorrow. But I won't know. I'm 250 miles away.So another group are in and my aunt says, "I just can't connect with this group… like they just want me to be the front desk girl at the hotel!" Would be Ark's perfect guests but the show is in our town so Arks misses out…..
I spent the day vacuuming inside and outside. (Have to get all those leaves and grass picked up after weed whacking and mowing around the pool before they decide to take a swim!) I haven't decided whether vacuuming or sweeping cement is easier…..One is noisy while the other is hard labor…. But I got a break when our neighbor took a break from remodeling one of his condos to come over to chit-chat. He ended up giving us a tour of the place. It was very nice!.
Hmm… Was it that or him not charging the full amount from those people? Or a little bit of both? (Tell Dad we say hello.)We have a group in this weekend I can't connect with at all. So I left. Any one want to switch for the week?
Tomorrow morning our breakfast will include, fresh-lemon croissant french-toast, BACON (the rest of us still are Canadian), fresh edible flowers, yogurt and a huge pile of fresh cut fruit (that isn't to strong smelling).
Please say a prayer for us this week.
Blessings on you and all you love.

They are a delightful couple, young and in love. Anxious to make life in a new country.
I asked what they would like!
Fresh bread and jam, so I made the bread last night, check.
Side of rice, check.
Black tea, check.
Lots of fruit and yogurt, check. No processed fruit, just fresh, check.
Fish, sorry I don't do boiled or steamed fish for breakfast.
Please no fats, no toasted breads, no sweet syrups, no eggs, no pork or juice, check.
No nuts or seeds roasted. Just raw, check.
So, I set the table with two breakfasts. Their requests and this one for our Asian guests:
Croissant french toast with fresh lemon, homemade cherry syrup, almonds, roasted seeds/cranberries, Canadian striped bacon, heated Saskatoon berries and heavy greek yogurt.
We all sat down to eat and do you want to guess what they ate?
Thanks for the prayers, they are/were appreciated. I am able to laugh at the situation and enjoy their company. 5 more to go.

On the other hand, you got to introduce them to new foods and to the new culture. I guess, if you want to go optimist on this one, it's pretty darned cool!
