Israeli salad for breakfast (yes, they really do eat salad for breakfast). Hash browns on the side. Bread for those who want it. Side fruit salad. If you use sugar, make sure it is kosher. And DONE! (The reason for kosher sugar is that some vegans object to cane sugar because bones may be used in the processing. Kosher sugar is never processed with bones and therefore is fine for vegans). And maybe some hard boiled eggs for those that want them.Joey Bloggs said:What do you get when you combine a VEGAN, A VEGETARIAN, A LACTOSE INTOLERANT, and A GLUTEN FREE together?

The nice parts of an Israeli salad: No lettuce (it's tasteless, it's useless and in the winter, expensive for no reason) and all it needs as dressing is a little salt, maybe some pepper. You can oil and lemon or vinegar, but there really isn't a reason, it's damn good without it.Israeli salad for breakfast (yes, they really do eat salad for breakfast). Hash browns on the side. Or a chop chop salad. I like that Eric, I will borrow that. When we ate at Guy's Grill in NYC I had a salad that was not too different, more of a COBB salad, and it was laid out in rows. I really liked the presentation. So picture your Israeli Salad in thirds. The cucumber was chopped the same way.
Kind of like this (and you can use whatever is required):

This is very similar to a Greek salad I make, and use olives as well, and your same dressing, and feta or similar. I adore that salad, it gets better the longer it sits, really melds together. Dang I am getting hungry here...not fair!Eric Arthur Blair said:The nice parts of an Israeli salad: No lettuce (it's tasteless, it's useless and in the winter, expensive for no reason) and all it needs as dressing is a little salt, maybe some pepper. Once and only once, we had a loud and loud and loud couple. They left early and didn't come for breakfast. But the other guests couldn't help but discuss it, over and over and over again.Wait, the real answer is "The Three Stooges" routine.
This morning was our first full house since November. We have special diets, one breakfast delivery and guests who did not come down til late, other arrived late (we thought they weren't going to show) and just when we finally got to sleep there was a "how to put politely" loud noise upstairs from the librarians (330am).
So on little sleep, we were in the kitchen doing the Three Stooges, except there were four of us today!.
Our very vocal guests got a lot of looks...we heard them quite clearly and 5 minutes later she was sitting down to eat breakfast, not a hair out of place.Once and only once, we had a loud and loud and loud couple.
