I emailed both booking and the guest and neither has replied. Will call guest this morning.we have - but have been using them for years and it is rare, id email the customer for it and say its a USA requirement.
Of all the room selling products out there I think booking is the one most on the side of the hotel. This is the first time I have not gotten an address. I have been easily able to contact the guest every other time. Cancellations have been easy, I get my policies adhered to and I have a 'big company' backing me up and dealing with the guest. I don't have to fight with the guest, booking does that for me.Booking. com is like hotels. com etc...you are lucky to even get a phone number-I personally do not like dealing with them because you have to do summersaults if they cancelled...we don't get many of those but those we do receive are from overseas..
BW, I think you may be confusing booking.com with another online booking co. They have been the easiest for me to deal with of them all. Not perfect, but by far the easiest.Booking. com is like hotels. com etc...you are lucky to even get a phone number-I personally do not like dealing with them because you have to do summersaults if they cancelled...we don't get many of those but those we do receive are from overseas..
It appears that is often a problem with them. On the other chat board they posted this link: http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.booking.com#130
It looks like a complaining type website, but enough of what I read is pretty scary.
I read a good 2 dozen complaints, all but one were booking issues by customers, 1 lonely hotelier that had not received notification of a booking, which could be detrimental to any accommodation. On the other hand, almost all the complaints by customers had centered on one thing, the customer NOT READING or understanding the policies.egoodell said:It appears that is often a problem with them. Yes, most of the PAII B&Bs that are using booking.com are happy with them. I thought that was kind of a complaining website. It appears that is often a problem with them. On the other chat board they posted this link: http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.booking.com#130
