Wanted to add - this is not a proper TRAIL within one state, or a Google map, although someone is more than welcome to create one of those for us!
If you do not know of any famous authors in your state just google "Famous Authors" and your state name. You might be surprised!
This is about the prominent/famous authors themselves, later we can do an article on famous BOOKS written in or about your area. THX.

I have to say that my town remembers one author from the 1930's and I hadn't been to her neighborhood (ever - and I grew up here) until challenged to contribute to the blog. I found lots of well kept victorians and her house was actually the smallest on the block!
