Plastic or metal? Which are the best? I'm leaning toward metal because they have a narrower profile than plastic.

Why I'm asking- Christmas Tree shops has a really neat bucket o' cutters that I thought I would pick up. But I don't want to aggravate myself later on.

I like metal. They cut cleaner and are easier to clean because they are thinner. Stuff gets stuck in the small areas of the plastic and is difficult to get out. Have to get a toothpick and/or a brush.....

I like metal better as well. Cleaner cuts at least for me. Stuff gets stuck in the plastic ones I have.

Metal cut the best. My absolute favorite place to get them is Off The Beaten Path, wonderful designs, have used them for years. here is their link: http://cookiecutter.com/ I will remove it if you would rather not have it posted--not related to them, just love em. Used to sell this brand in my shop.
Just checked, they still wholesale with a min. order. They do boxed sets, an easy sell
