We had those guests who had booked the wrong date. I explained why we didn't call them on the day.
Their take was it was ok to text to let the guest know what to expect when they arrived and that way they could text back that there was a problem.
Do you do this?
Caveat for us is we don't have a smartphone so texting doesn't work. Plus, we have a lot of landline phone numbers that are the 'home' number, so no use at all!
Do you find if you text, that the guests then expect to text you for everything?
