So glad I found you! I've been trying to find out what would be a good percentage to expect from running everything B&B including events/weddings and building revenue in addition to my innkeepers pay. I know there are a zillion variables... but jump right in! My background is in catering, I am an innkeeper at a Diamond /five star switching it up to a new position which includes weddings and special events but this is a 6 room venue with a bistro on the lake. I have NO IDEA what the norm might be. I think I'll know it when I see it so please toss up some numbers so I don't cut myself short. I'm hearing 3% for booking rooms, 6% on events is that what 30 years in hospitality gets us these days?
