I ate their guacamole
All rooms checked out. breakfast multiple seatings, delivery, mad chaos of a full house. wedding guests left their cake, we call them, they come back. then i go into the guest fridge and find more food left behind. I was about to toss it when I opened and saw chocolates, starbucks fraps, tabouli, guac (unopened and still fresh) and more.
I made tacos for lunch and said "oh hey here is guac...it was never opened" I tell DH.
A moment ago the guests returned 6 hours later and banged on the door "Hello?! We left food in the fridge" we are here, back here again after not being here and so i answer the door. I hand them the fraps, the chocolate, less the guacamole. Sorry, I said, this is all I have.
I can imagine the discussion 8 hours drive home about the innkeeper eating their guac. I didn't say I ate it, I only handed them what was left (whatever was opened i did toss, except the chocolate)
