I messaged our middle school band director that I was down to 1 dozen eggs and needed 4 dozen. She forgot to bring them yesterday and was apologizing all over the place last night. I did not know that this weekend is their son's wedding. When she told me that, I said no sweat, I can manage until next week.
Tonight there was a noise on my kitchen deck. I looked over and there is the high school band director (her husband) delivering my eggs - he said there are SO many people at their house for the wedding that he and his dad HAD to get out of the house - I gave them an excuse. IF I had not been home, he would have just put them in the fridge for me. Most of the eggs I get from them are jumbo size! There truly IS a difference between store eggs and farm fresh.
