Thank goodness they didn't come here where, heaven forbid, we do serve blueberries. And the ubiquitous 'doily' made an appearance as well. And remind to make sure there's no 'gentility' on hand should they ever show up here. (NYC B&B story) Can't they just say they liked it without denigrating what other people find fascinating?

don't know ... it seems that way . nice that they arrived early and someone would bike over in the pouring rain to give them keys. and they saw 'almost no one' during their 4 day stay ... does that mean they were served breakfast or not? i am just wondering ... and don't know if it's because the place is in NY and they wanted distance, but my guests were often 'miffed' if they didn't get a lot of innkeeper attention at every b&b. i guess that was what they were expecting from maine, along with its famous blueberries!
