i just stayed in a hotel. yup, no b&b with a room in the area under $150 a night and that was my budget (plus tax)
my room was chilly ... and i wanted a blanket to throw on top of the sheet and thin bedspread. after playing ups and downs with the thermostat, like goldilocks too hot and too cold ... i called down to the desk to ask for a blanket and she said 'just turn up the heat, the thermostat is located under the window.' click. i didn't really want to turn up the heat. i did, but then the room was too warm. inched it down and was chilly. not comfortable.
i didn't complain but received a survey email that said 'how was your stay?' so, i filled it out and asked ... why don't they have a spare blanket in the room? or why couldn't i just have a blanket? management response via email was that i could've had a blanket if i'd asked. so, i have just emailed back to explain that i DID ask. but i'm not planning to go round and round with emails.
