Keeping the A/C turned to 77F when it's almost 100F degrees outside. (And the electric bill that is less than half of what it was when we had guests!)

 

[Generic]

The self filling soap dispenser.
Rooms that resembled a Tardis, small on the outside, giant on the inside. Preferably self-cleaning.
A special garbage can that had a retractable brim that would expand every time they throw things at it, so they get inside the bin rather than around it.
Bath mats that returned to their storage positions 30 minutes later.

A magic reservations calender, that would change the game, now I decide who stays and when....
So I would have a weekly list of potential guests (all pre-screened to be great, interesting and otherwise good B&B people

) that I can select from. Of course, I can assign these guests the room they want, their length of stay and their arrival time. Every monday I will fill my reservations agenda with a nice mix of guests and some personal time for the week to come.............
