Hey all, just got told we're going to be on MSR tomorrow (8/15) courtesy of bnbfinder. Yippee, I hope...we all know I'm no domestic goddess...
this is very cool
is it going to be an interview? or a mention? save the segment and put a link on your website!
my cousin was on a year ago and still has the link on his inn's website

I talked with Mary (White) today at bnbfinder. She wanted some 'color' for the piece she was doing about 'end of summer' vacations. She already had me on the list of places to talk about. (See the blog I linked to in the first post.) I'm not sure how to save the segment. I can look it up on the radio listings I would guess. I'm not sure how long the whole segment is.seashanty said:this is very cool

Thanks for explaining that (altho you had already told me the same in the email).Since it's Sirius Satellite radio, it doesn't fall under 'Fair Use' like a clip on terrestrial radio, which is a shame, so you can't really re-use the clips or post them anywhere legally. The upside is though, that the folks at Martha Stewart are really great about mentioining the links a few times during the show, and there's a special page on the site, and on the blog as well, which lists and links to all the inns that Mary is going to feature. The summer getaway segment is going to run about half an hour.
Sirius is a pay service, but...if anyone would like to listen they do offer a free three day trial which you can stream via the web here:

Even in terrestrial radio fair use doesn't really apply. You still need permission to duplicate it and put it on your website.Since it's Sirius Satellite radio, it doesn't fall under 'Fair Use' like a clip on terrestrial radio, which is a shame, so you can't really re-use the clips or post them anywhere legally.
