I'm raising my rates. (Well, already did... yesterday!)
I'm hiring an exceedingly part-time housekeeper. (She said yes today.) Only a few hours a week, but someone who'll know where each of the six different kinds of glasses and two different kinds of cups, and many different kinds of towels all go. Mostly to clean my floors (ugh) and do ironing (double ugh), but also be able to flip rooms and hold down the fort if I'm out of town (as I am every November), or if some horrible emergency occurs. She's my first real employee, so I'll be learning about withholding and all that.
And I promised my web assistant I'd start blogging... and I suppose while I'm at it I can get a lot of other unfinished paperwork and web work done, too. Maybe room notebooks made, now that we'll be open 5 or 6 years!
