Hi Everyone,
I've been remiss in checking in for a while, but it's nice to be back.
I am looking for cellphone chargers (usb ports) for my nightstands that also have outlets in them. I know I saw one on this site a while ago but I can't find it now. Does anyone remember it? And in that same vein, is it possible to do a search on this forum when looking for older posts? Thanks!

I have these in every room but I do not think guests use them. I, however take one with me when I travel to a Conference so I can charge phone & bluetooth.

I also just added this to the top of my bookcase headboard in my best room - and THIS is being used

Mine is in black but while looking, I saw it also in blue

I've seen Cubie minis on my travels. Kind of pricey - ~$50. Two outlets, two USB ports. They either screw down or Velcro to the table surface. They won't stay put unless you do that, the cord is very heavy.

I have larger units that have universal plugs on them. Cuts down on the guests needing to borrow travel adapters as well. Even the weird Aussie plugs fit.

Does that unit also have usb ports? Can you tell me what the name of it is? Thanks.

Thanks. Not sure I want to screw anything or velcro to the table. And too pricey. Of course, as soon as I do buy something it will probably become obsolete.

Ordered via AliExpress... this one http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-gang-extension-socket-with-2-1-usb-charger-on-Aliexpress/2038906290.html
Has 2 USB charging ports and 3 outlets. They will also usually offer in a number of colours. US plug on our side, universal sockets. Also available in taller versions. In the description you will also see there are power bar versions as well as a few others. And there are other suppliers as well.
We marked ours so that people would realize that it's a universal adapter but provides 110V@60Hz.

In our newest unit I used the bedside lamps with convenience outlets. I think ours came from National Hospitality. There are many 'modern' styles but I got a traditional style and yes a bit spendy. Our B&B rooms have outlets (not already clobbered) by the beds but our new unit elsewhere still has few outlets so the lamps are the fix. Sort of like the ones in the link. You'll have to cut and paste. I can't make it clickable.
