Little kid asked me this morning if I go to my grandmother's house for Christmas. I explained I don't have any grandmothers any longer. Had told her yesterday, when she asked how old my mother is, that my mom is gone.
She asked me to come to her house for Christmas.
Overheard her explaining it to her parents: Miss Mort doesn't have a mom or grandmas anymore so I asked her to come to our house for Christmas.
Had to walk away when I heard that.
