I have received bookings for next year and haven't set my rates. What's weird is that people don't even call to ask. They just book it, not knowing. If I were the guest, I'd be calling to find out what I'm paying!.This sounds like a bug. If I don't have rates entered you can't make a reservation. Even I can't make a reservation from the office side!BananaE29 said:I have received bookings for next year and haven't set my rates. What's weird is that people don't even call to ask. .Really? I don't think the program knows the difference between $0.00 and $199.00, as long as there is an amount in there. If I go in to "rate plans" and make a rate change for one day for instance, and enter the new rate, but forget to click the actual day (not date), it shows zero on my calendar. It hasn't happened often, but when it has, I just call the guest and explain the glitch.Morticia said:This sounds like a bug. If I don't have rates entered you can't make a reservation. .But since I had not published anything for 2017 it should be blank, not with $0.00BananaE29 said:Really? $0.00 is an amount. Blank says no rates have been entered.
Sure it only takes a call. Thankfully this young lady was pleasant but it could get ugly. They have no idea of the issue as ResKey says AVE cost per night and cuts the $ based on the total. This one thought we were doing a 1/2 priced special for NYE -

But the default must be $0? I have not yet set prices for March 3rd forward, and those dates on the guest calendar say $0. If someone chose any of those dates, the reservation goes through. Here's a link [removed] to my calendar - I'll remove it in a bit. But look at March - that's how mine looks if I haven't set rates.
.In reality it should not appear as $0 it should be blank! Nothing, Nada, Zilch. Having a $0 means it is free, no charge.BananaE29 said:Copperhead said:$0.00 is an amount. Blank says no rates have been entered.
