prepping just in case we get that blizzard ... brought in loads of firewood, bought fire starters and fatwood.
what a muscle building chore!
there is a wood stove and two fireplaces but if our power goes out this old house gets cold fast and i'll be for sure camping out in front of one of those warm spots
water is off ... something went amiss there, so am off to buy some at the store and hoping the town will get that fixed.
will get gasoline tomorrow for the generator that will keep the refrigerator and freezer humming.
we have a propane camp stove that i hate but can use in a pinch.
flashlights and lanterns (battery and oil ones) are all set and i've got a crank radio (haha)
charging up the cell phone.
the snow blower is broken because my bil refused to get it looked at and i couldn't afford to ... ah, well.
camera ... got to charge up those batteries ... need photos!
we've got cans of things and food is fine.
i guess that's about as much prep as i can do. can't think of anything else. can you?
