Thanks for the heads up.

The Clydesdales spent 4 days in a town about 20 miles from here to celebrate one old guy who had the Budweiser distributorship in the town for 60 years. They let the old boy ride on the wagon next to the dalmatian. The town also has the factory that makes most of the Budweiser bottles.
This town is a one stoplight town with the state highway running down the main street. All the traffic came to a halt so the team could go from one end of town to the other with lots of stops for photo ops.

.
The horses have a caregiver who not only has a snow-shovel sized pooper scooper, but he also has cloth diapers to wipe the slobber.
On the days the horses weren't in the parade, they took individual horses around to area nursing homes, which was sweet.

the guy in the commercial is an "actor" portraying the "real" handler. The real handler is a wonderful guy and lives on the farm. He really has slept in the stables with the horses.
Theres a special on "Nightline" tonight talking about it.

I waited to watch the commercial live as I love to watch the SB commercials. It was wonderful, tear jerker as well. During & after the SB I was watching my FB feed and that commercial was viral and overwhelmingly was considered the best of the lot. Hope this brings your area lots of visitors and my your B&B reap in it as well.

This may be one of their marketing strategies this year as they were in a little town to the west of us last week with a local couple riding next to the dog. The picture caught my eye as they were riding down a small neighborhood street. Didn't read why the couple was chosen.
The Clydesdales were headed to the city near me for the BIG game and for the BIG festival coming up this weekend and they always are part of the parades. Amazingly beautiful animals.
