today was my birthday
some gorgeous roses arrived from a friend
and then, to bring me down to earth, one of my sons presented me with this card.
it reminded me of the oh so glamorous life i lead (i know you can relate)

my oldest son ... yes, he finds the BEST cards. soo appropriate.
the roses are from a man i'm seeing ... wish i could keep them forever. they are so pretty. i need to divide them up into little vases for the dining tables i think. maybe one for each table. and i'll keep the rest in the vase that came with.

40th last year - DH got me ..... wait for it ..... a walking cane. And yes, he know's my sense of humor and I thought it was hysterical.
