Or you can do what I do and delete them every day or week and get frustrated instead of unsubscribing

I hate the ones that bury a checkbox somewhere, and sometimes it's saying check this box to opt out of notifications, and other times it's saying check this box to receive notifications. Or they precheck it and you have to uncheck it.
At least legitimate ones really will unsubscribe you. A lot of spams put an Unsubscribe link at the bottom, but clicking it just moves you higher on their spam list by verifying that it's a valid e-mail.

I delete every day because I figure clicking unsubscribe - Got a live one guys! After my initial deletes at the server, when they get into my inbox, I do a Junk/block sender and it actually does send quite a few directly into the junk box.

the reputable sites unsubscribes works just fine for me. but if I dont have a clue who it is, i just delete of spam catcher doesnt get it.

I liked the one about pressing the number 9 when you get a sales call. Not sure if it works as we have a business line.

Perfect one for me - doesthedogdie.com. it tells you if the pets in a book or movie get injured or die.
