When I did the site for our B&B Association, I wrote special pages for mobile phones that had a couple of key features -- small fast loading pages, and and a special menu option that searches all of our availability (screen scraping webervations) and list the links and phone numbers of the B&Bs that have a room for that day. Seems to be useful.
