Hi everyone. I feel like I need to take a moment and give everyone who hosts weddings at your property something to think about. Let me first say that this is not a post to start a discussion on "right or wrong" or how you feel about "Same Sex Weddings." So please don't take this thread down that path. "I think we are all professional enough here. The world is changing and laws are adjusting to them. I just want for those who host weddings to be prepared for a request for a same sex wedding. As more and more states approve same sex marriages into law you will by law have to be willing to host them. If you choose not to host them, you will be sued and forced to pay big fines. So the reason for this post is not to get people all upset and I hope that it doesn't. The post is for you to make the decision before you say "No" to a requests for a same sex wedding. If you choose not to host them for whatever reason, than that's your right. But you will no longer be able to host any type of weddings at your location. You can not single couples out. So you need to decide what you are going to do when this comes up. I just don't want any of you to end up in court. Its been interesting watching the different states adjust to this. Looks like when another state passes it, there is a flood of weddings. Could be great for business. Just make sure your prepared for it.
