We closed on the adjacent property Friday, and on Monday will begin demolition of the inside as we start to convert it into SpaVermont!
As part of the expansion, we have changed our name from the Phineas Swann Bed & Breakfast to the Phineas Swann Inn & Spa.
We really hated giving up on the "bed and breakfast" name, but sadly it's been so polluted and devalued by you-know-who that we just got tired of everyone thinking we had an Air and weren't a traditional hospitality provider.
Plans are to formally open June 1, with a soft open earlier if construction doesn't run behind schedule. We're going to be offering massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, relaxation rooms, a sauna and hot tub.
Wish us luck!

Wow, good luck! You're the dog friendly place, correct? Will you have a doggy spa?

Maybe you could partner with a licensed portable dog groomer ... dogs could enjoy that while their people enjoy the spa.

Wonderful! Wishing you the best! And yes, do a dog spa too. Its right up your alley. A bigger mini barn could work if a groomer wasn't interested.
