Hi, um, yeah, I've been busy... and it's nice to have been missed.
I pop on every few days or so and read a thread or two.
I'm coming off of peak season, so maybe I'll be around more, but maybe not...
I am officially divorced now (as of April 27th) and still homeschooling (well, public school at home) the ds7x2. Until recently exdh only took the kids occasionally, but now I'm hoping to have a break more often.
For the past year I mostly was just keeping my head above water, and I could never have done it without amazing friends and my sister and bil. Now I feel like I'm starting to regain my equilibrium, get my energy back, get back on top of things. I had helper girls this summer through that government program that trains kids, so my windows are washed and my fence painted. As far as schooling, we never quite finished first grade last year, but now we're up and running and on track to finish first and plow through second.
In the end, I am super blessed. I am healthier and happier than I've been in years. I came through the divorce in just under a year with my life and business intact. I've joined the community band, starting wearing mascara, and have lost 30 pounds. God has really looked after me!
=)

Yes... really. And I worked through the ethics and he's taken me out to two of the very best restaurants in the area. And they were not a dates, just "two chums having dinner together." (At least, that's his take on it.)Alibi Ike said:Really?YellowSocks said:Next I start posting about the ethical dilemma involved with going out to dinner with single male guests.
