Amazing what a little body of water will do for your weather. New Brunswick got dumped on today with snow and we were walking around in light jackets. It was actually 18 C (64.4 F) today--warmer than parts of Florida! We've had our share of rain though, but looking forward to a mild weekend with some sun.

Our road from mid-day Sunday through mid-day today:

We were without power most of the day Sunday. Many others still don't.
6+ inches of heavy wet snow on November 2, leaves still on many of the trees, and 40+ mph wind gusts -- made for quite a mess!

We escaped the snow but gusts upward to 70 mph wrecked havoc with our trees as well. Batten down...round 2 scheduled to begin here on Thursday. sigh

Got a dusting of snow on Saturday. Wet, windy, nasty all day. Sunday was chilly, but sunny & beautiful. Yesterday I woke up to 22*, but it peaked at 60* and beautiful again.
This was our front yard on Saturday morning.

Unseasonably mild here, we've just had the warmest Halloween on record in the UK, bit cooler today, but still warmer than it should be..
same here but event more so (john is further north than us so colder) but we have a thriving outdoor café culture - 1st nov people are all sat outside! it was that warm!
