I didn't read the article but I just had someone tell me they want to stay here for a really romantic honeymoon. Very special lady. Wants to really show her how special she is. Blah, blah, blah. I had to tell him this is not the place. I invited him to look over the website but I did suggest a really nice place I know of where they would get the whole 'romance' thing he wants.I made eight changes due to this article! One change, due to #42, "Explain who you are suited to, and who you are NOT suited to (age/interests, etc.)..." is that, for my vacation rental where there's no staff onsite, to require that at least one of the guests in the apartment be age 24 or older.
I don't want a bunch of college kids having a party at my place. Of course, they could lie and make the reservation anyway, but if I check on who's there and they look too young, I can "card" them and more easily make them leave (and keep their payment) if they're under age..
