I really don't think that one post per day is enough. I know we don't want to alienate your Fans, but consider how long any of us are on our personal FB pages at one given time. I might be on there for 5-20 minutes max. And then I'll go on again in a few hours (I have a home-based biz, so it's my form of goofing off). So, if a business just posts once that day, the chances of me seeing it while I'm on FB are rare. If that business posts once every two hours or even three times a day, there's a greater chance I'll see it. Now, that also depends on how many friends someone has and how busy their feed is. But, the goal isn't to have a nice wall for someone who goes straight to your wall to see your activity. The goal is to get your name in front of your fans in their feed.Just had a friend stop by who practically lives on fb. He said for a business, he thinks one post per day is enough, more than that and he is inclined to stop going there. Interesting. I have been doing two posts, or maybe three plus checking for comments. Too much? Too Little? Must admit when I got the salt out of the cupboard this morning, I saw a fb on it and thought....WHY?.
That said, I have curbed my activity quite a bit from seeing what others were doing which annoyed me. But, my Fan count continues to climb.
UPDATE: Ok, I just found the stats for likes & unlikes. We lost 6 in Jan, 3 in Feb and 1 in March. I think this decrease is due to the change in my activity. Interesting...
